Leah joined Air Pig Productions and Emerald Films in September of 2017 to streamline the development of new formats and manage production of existing ones. She is most passionate about leading world-class crews and telling engaging stories, with a particular love for four-quadrant and family content.

Since mid-2012, Leah has worked as a freelance Development Consultant and Producer, working on major advertising campaigns, music videos, short films, TV series and feature films. Leah’s family short film Ravi & Jane (2013), enjoyed a successful run on the international festival circuit, including in Edinburgh and Toronto.

Over the course of her career so far, Leah has amassed remarkable and varied experience across many corners of the industry, including development, production, and distribution. After a series of internships in London & Australia, Leah commenced work for Paramount Pictures in 2007, which saw her play a key role in the development, acquisition, and release of several significant Australian films, gaining a valuable insight into Australian audiences.

Leaving Paramount in 2011, Leah assisted Barrie M Osborne, (EP of The Great Gatsby,) learning the ins and outs of feature film development and production from a master craftsman.

Leah was awarded a Talent Escalator grant by Screen Australia in 2014 and undertook a six-month position as Creative Executive at Working Title Films in London, working across their entire slate of projects in development. Remaining in the UK for two years, Leah continued her freelance producing career and began working as an assessor and development consultant for companies like the BFI, Shine Pictures, Universal Pictures, Focus Features, and Screen Queensland.
