Emerald Films is owned by award-winning Producer Sally Browning who founded the company in the 1990s after graduating from the Australian Film Television & Radio School in Sydney, Australia. Emerald Films has won many international awards and its documentaries have been showcased at numerous festivals around the world including Sydney Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Palm Springs and Berlin International Film Festival.

Sally Browning has 20 years experience in the film and television industry in documentary filmmaking, corporate productions, TVC and film financing. She also has a background in journalism. Her award-winning films deal with subjects ranging from socio-political themes, to personal character studies, to pop culture.
